Eliana and Solomon met in Lebanon, Tennessee, while serving in the same Spanish branch during their missions. At one point, they innocuously set up balloons that spelled "LOVE" for a Valentine's Day dance. At the time, they had no idea they would one day fall in love. They connected easily through their shared sense of humor, love of board games, and interest in obscure music and movies. Three months before finishing her mission, Eliana was surprised to get a letter from the tall Elder who had mostly avoided her. In the letter he left for her, Solomon asked her out. They began emailing and waited for a chance to meet in person. Their shared faith and mission experiences gave their relationship a strong foundation. Now, one year after that letter, they are getting sealed in the Seattle Temple for time and all eternity.
